Abstracts must be submitted in one of the categories:
Donor recruitment, engagement and retention

Emerging registries and resource-constrained contexts
All abstracts must be submitted online via the Abstract Submission Platform. Faxed, emailed or mailed abstracts will not be accepted.
Product advertisements are not appropriate for presentations. The Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to exclude abstracts that promote commercial interests inappropriately or are viewed as unethical in content.
Abstracts may be submitted either for oral or poster presentation. The top scoring abstract submissions will be picked for oral presentation. All accepted abstracts not selected for oral presentation will be offered poster presentation. Please indicate your preference when submitting.
Each abstract will be peer reviewed for (a) content, (b) the merit of the research or work, and (c) adherence to abstract formatting instructions outlined where applicable. The decision to accept or reject an abstract rests with the Abstract Review Committee.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts a person may submit.
Conference Copyright Statement: Authors of each abstract retain the copyright for their own abstracts.
Submission process
Submit complete abstracts electronically via the official submission portal by Sunday 4th October 2026, 23:59 Indian Standard Time. Late submissions will not be considered.
Once an abstract is accepted, no changes can be made to the content or authors. Please ensure you review all content carefully before final submission. All submission will undergo peer review.
The primary presenter should be the primary contact. Notification of acceptance or rejection and all future correspondence will be communicated to the presenting author from the IDRC team.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by the end of November 2026.
The primary presenter of an accepted abstract (oral or poster) is expected to register and attend the conference. If the primary presenter is unable to attend, one of the other authors will be expected to attend and present the abstract. Abstract formatting instructions
To ensure consistency and fairness in review, abstracts must adhere strictly to the following requirements:
Language: All abstracts must be submitted in English. Your submission should be edited to ensure clear communication of your work.
Topic selection: All abstract submissions must be submitted under one of the categories listed in the guidelines.
Word count: The word limit is 300 words, excluding title and author information. Title must be a maximum of 15 words.
Authors & Institutions: Please provide full names and institutional affiliations (institution, city, country) for all authors. Ensure the presenting author is included first.
Structure: Abstracts should follow a structured format using the headings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Acronyms/Abbreviations: These should be defined the first time they appear.
Presentation format: Please indicate your preference regarding abstract presentation format – either oral or poster.
Submitting authors must declare that the abstract/s submitted are the original work of at least one author/presenter and that they have secured all necessary permissions for any third-party content included.
All presentation materials, research, data, slides, and content provided by the author/presenter remain their (or relevant third party’s) intellectual property.
The author(s) agree to presents accurate, evidence based and ethical information and content, and to avoid defamatory, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
The primary presenter of an accepted abstract (oral or poster) is required to register, pay, attend and present their material at IDRC 2027. Funding may be available for individuals from low to middle income countries. Please contact info@idrc2027chennai.com for information on this.
If the submission is selected, consent is provided for the presentation slides (oral presenters), video, audio recording and photos taken during the oral presentation/poster presentation to be used and published by IDRC 2027 including being provided to delegates of the IDRC 2027 Congress.
Submitting authors must declare the work described in the abstract has appropriate approval under local, ethical and animal experimentation rules
Submitting authors must declare that their work does not conflict with any existing copyright agreements with alternate publishers.
Submitting authors provide consent for their presentation materials to be used to assist with promoting IDRC 2027.
